I have recently joined team Beds and Luton after having been a Partnership Development Manager for a School Sport Partnership in the South Lake District for the past six years. I have previously worked in Youth Sport Development in Glasgow, Liverpool and North Wales. I came to the UK to play professional Ice Hockey in the early 1990’s and played on a number of successful teams most notable the Manchester Storm . I had the pleasure to represent Great Britain on the national team on several occasions and also founded a team and programme in North Wales where I Managed, coached and played until my retirement in 2005. I have recently completed my Masters in Community Sport form the University of Bolton.
My key role at team Beds and Luton will be to act as the Coaching Development Manager where I will support and increase the number of qualified coaches, setup a support network, offer organizational assistance in obtaining CPD training and pathways to develop their coaching skills within the Luton and Bedfordshire area.
