Active Participation in Sport Report
This report outlines the links between active participation in FE and HE and the objectives of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The report explores where the sectors can deliver against the targets/measures of government, local authority and other key stakeholders. It identifies the independent nature of both sectors and the strengths which this brings. The work of FECs and HEIs is vital to the successful delivery of the new Sport England Strategy and the DCMS Legacy Action Plan.
Tying into the Sport Engalnd Strategy and the creation of British University College Sport and the ongoing work of British Colleges Sport and the Principals Sport Strategy Group we are confident that this report sets out an ambitious, yet pragmatic approach for the sectors involvement in delivering for the 2012 Games and beyond.
