Contract Opportunities for Local Business

15th October 2008, The Auction House, Luton.
10.00 – 14.00 including Lunch (Registration opens at 9.30)

In the run up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, businesses will be awarded an estimated £6bn worth of contracts linked to hosting the Games. Whilst businesses are benefiting from these contracts, many businesses from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities are missing out on these opportunities. This event is specifically aimed at
encouraging more BME companies to compete for and win Games related contracts.

It’s not just about building world-class stadiums – contract values start from a few thousand pounds and range from supplying IT hardware, catering, merchandising, coach driving services, and even men’s ties –
you’d be surprised at what’s on offer.

You may never have considered that the London 2012 Games could open up opportunities to your business, but forty eight businesses in the region have already secured contracts! This unique event brings together a panel of experts to show you how your business can compete for and more importantly win contracts. They will show you:
• Where to find out about contract opportunities
• How to put your business in the shop window
• How to position your business to win
• What ongoing support is available.

Make sure your business doesn’t miss out and register now.
