Linslade Canal Festival
Linslade Canal Festival organised by Leighton Linslade Town Council, took place on Saturday 25th July and was a huge success. 6000 attended the festival with over 200 people taking part in the disc golf event organised by Central Bedfordshire in partnership with team BEDS&LUTON and BOOST.
Disc golf Give it a Go! sessions was aimed at families, encouraging people of all ages to take part together in a sporting activity in a rural setting. Flyers and leaflets were handed out around the whole carnival site promoting sporting and physical activity opportunities and it was great to see a real range of particapants getting involved, from 3-70 year olds!
