Paralympian to visit Cambridgeshire School
Granta School in Cambridge will welcome Gold medal winning Paralympian Danny Crates on 3 July. They won the athlete visit after uploading the best Paralympic Handover celebration idea last September. They have waited until this term for their visit so they could tie into their National School Sport Week plans. Danny will attend a whole school assembly followed by a secondary sports day. In assembly he will present certificates for achievements during Lloyds TSB National School Sports Week and do a short presentation about himself as an athlete.
