Win a trip to Beijing

Win a trip to the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games!

We are delighted to be able to offer one young person and an adult a once in a lifetime trip to the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, courtesy of Visa – proud Supporter of the London 2012 Paralympic Games Handover.

This trip will provide the winner with a fantastic opportunity to see what the Paralympic Games are really like. There will be the chance to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Games, to experience a number of sporting events and to find out more about Beijing and China.

The winning young person will also be invited to act as a ‘young reporter’ at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, reporting on behalf of Visa and LOCOG, and will be asked to share their experiences by film, photography and regular blogs. We will use their updates and stories on the Paralympic Handover website to help other schools and colleges celebrate Paralympic Handover day. On their return, the winner will be asked to lead their place of learning’s Paralympic Handover celebrations on Wednesday 17 September!

This incredible prize will be offered to a school, college or other place of learning picked at random from every place of learning that has registered properly to be part of our programme by Wednesday 25 June. The winning school, college or other place of learning will then be responsible for selecting one young person and their parent, carer or other responsible adult to make this amazing journey.

All you have to do to take part is visit our ‘Register’ page on the Paralympic Handover website, provide your school’s or college’s details and confirm that you agree our competition terms and conditions (available on the page) by Wednesday 25 June.
