Paralympic Training Camps

Over 20% of the entries set to feature in the Paralympic Pre-Games Training Camp guide are from FECs and HEIs.  The 170 sporting facilities, of which 35 are colleges or universities, are set to feature in the 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide for Paralympic sports.  Selected for their excellence, accessibility and accommodation standards, the facilities will offer international Paralympic teams areas to train and acclimatise ahead of the 2012 Games.  The 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide for Paralympic sports will be available via a newly developed website later this year.

A hub-site centre is available at the University of Bedfordshire’s Bedford Campus in partnership with the Bedford International Athletics Stadium.
