During the 2007/2008 season we will be running three Saturday teams and taking part in four or five midweek competitions. Our senior team plays in the Millman competition (Saturday Div 1) and our 2nds and 3rds in the competitive Bedford and District League, Divisions 1 and 3, so we play at a range of levels to cater for players of all abilities.
We have some Sunday friendlies and are developing our youth sides. One team plays in the Under-16 county youth league, and our newer Under-12s enjoy games in the ‘participation’ league against other north Beds clubs. We have an increasing number of coaches, following the ECB’s Safe Hands policies, and all CRB checked.
We have two teams in the Indoor League on winter Sunday mornings. New players are always welcome, from absolute beginner to old hands. We have an end-of-season Dinner and Awards Evening, the necessary Annual General and Annual Finance Meetings, and other social events, not to mention indoor and outdoor nets, for youngsters and others.
