Discovering Places

Discovering Places is a UK-wide campaign giving participants the opportunity to discover, explore, be inspired by and benefit from the UK's hidden gems - historic and contemporary buildings, public spaces and natural places in and around the cities, towns and villages where they live and work.

The programme will showcase the local environment and encourage people to engage through a series of events and projects in the lead up to the Olympic and Paralympics Games.

Discovering Places in Luton

St George's Square to Bury Park with Safraz Manzoor, Luton born, author, journalist and media personality acting as tour guide. There will be a few stops at pre arranged shops and restaurants, Friday 23rd July 6.30pm-8.30pm. For further information about this free event and to book a place please contact fahim.qureshi@lutonculture.com or The Hat Factory Box Office Tel 01582 878100.
