Bedford Goalball Club

Bedford Goalball club is launching on the 23rd January with friends and siblings welcome to join the club as well. Goalball is a fantastic sport specifically designed for the visually impaired which is played at the Paralympic games. Each team has 3 players and the aim is to get a ball with a bell in past the other team into a goal.
Ages: 8+
Where: Bedfordshire University, Bedford Campus, Polhill Avenue, Bedford, MK41 9EA.
When: Saturday, 23rd January 1-3pm
Cost: FREE for first session £2 after

Marlins Special Needs Water Activity Club
For anyone with physical or learning disabilities and their families. Activities include; swimming, special Olympics, canoeing.
Venues: Oasis Beach Pool, Cardington Road, Bedford - Sunday; 18.30-20.00
Bedford School, Bedford - Thursday; 20.00-21.00
Sunday session - Fun in the Beach Pool for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and any adults needing additional support must be accompanied by a carer (Entry for carers is free). Disabled access: lift, special changing room
Membership fee: £4 for 2 years, plus pay per session

Sports Zone

Sports Zone is a disability sports and physical activity club aiming to encourage the fun aspect of sport and physical activity. The club is aimed at young people aged 8 – 18 years old, with moderate learning difficulties and/or slight physical disabilities.
The club runs on a weekly basis at the Bunyan Centre, Mile Road in Bedford; 10am - 12noon.
Although the club can not cater for one to one care it does work on a reduced ratio for the sessions.
