SAFEGUARDING AND PROTECTING CHILDREN (SCuk)
A classroom based workshop recommended for anybody who is in contact with children or young people in a sport setting. Protect yourself and the young people you are working with by understanding and following good practice. Also learn about how to handle situations if you have concerns. Basic Awareness on Child Abuse and Neglect (E-LEARNING)
An e-learning package endorsed by Bedfordshire Safeguarding Children Board. The course is ideal for everyone who comes into contact with children, young people, their parents or carers through their work in either the statutory or voluntary or independent sector. The e-learning course is designed to provide a flexible delivery route for Basic Awareness of Child Protection and Safeguarding Children.
ASSESSMENT: Training modules incorporate a number of challenges and questions that will enable the user to determine their level of understanding. When ready the user can then proceed to the online quizzes, which will test their knowledge and record the results on their personal training record.
ACHEIVEMENT: When learners successfully achieve the pass mark for an individual modules, they will be eligible for a certificate on completion.
REQUIREMENTS: All that is needed is access to a computer that has internet connection.
