Child Protection

The majority of children who take part in sport do so in a safe and helpful atmosphere, with genuine support from the adults involved. But for the small minority of children who are abused during sporting activities, the picture is very different. We need to ensure that preventative steps are taken and that clear processes for reporting concerns are established.

We hope that this section will give you and your club the resources and support you need to ensure you are a safe and child friendly club. You will be able to access the Partnership Child Protection Policy from this section along with many other resources and details on the training we offer, and where you can get further advice and help.

Partnership Statement

"team BEDS&LUTON is committed to the principle that all children and vulnerable adults have the right to be protected from abuse. The Partnership acknowledges the need to provide and maintain a high degree of physical and mental well being for children and vulnerable adults in its care".
