Congratulations to HANNAH SOUTHAM and RYAN UNDERWOOD...
After much deliberation team BEDS&LUTON were unable to choose between these two excellent nominations, and therefore decided to award both volunteers with the Step into Sport award for June.
Hannah has been volunteering at Grangers Netball club developing her skills in coaching and officiating. This season Hannah has worked with a group of year seven children helping them to develop their skills and abilities. Hannah has also coached a team at the local sunday morning junior league. The group of players Hannah has worked with this season have become well integrated and the attendance has been increasing. As well as her volunteering at the Netball club, Hannah has been helping out at her local dance club supportiing children from aged 3-8. Hannah has been full of enthusiasm and encouragement for the very young dancers and has even been seen on stage helping them to perform in front of an audience!! Hannahs community volunteering hours were at 237 at the time of print (and rising).
