East Links: Funding for Officiating
Are you looking to achieve a sports officiating qualification? Would you like some funding to support you through the award?
team BEDS&LUTON and Bedford College are delivery partners in East–links: Leading the Field designed to help up-skill the sport and active leisure workforce ahead of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Please note the following criteria are required for each candidate to be eligible for a bursary. They must:
• Be in paid employment for at least 8 hours per week (this can be in any profession)
• Be working or living within Bedfordshire
• Be over 16 years of age at the start of the course
• Be seeking to develop, i.e. looking to up skill, in an employed or volunteer status role within the sport and leisure sector in Bedfordshire
• NOT be in full time education (this includes school or first degree at University)
• Be endorsed by the relevant National Governing Body (regionally or locally)
Additional notes that must be considered:
• There must be a suitable course available to attend and complete in the timescales.
