LUTON SPORTS NETWORK
Luton Sports Network was launched in July 2007. Like Sport Bedford, the group is based around the original sports council that has existed for many years in Luton and has done some excellent work on behalf of the voluntary sports clubs. Now, through the Community Sports Network, we will bring together other key partners and stakeholders from health, education and the community.
Luton Sports Network aims to raise the profile of and promote the benefits of sport and physical activity throughout the town.
Work has begun on producing an action plan and initial priorities for Luton Sports Network will be to;
• Improve communications by the launch of a new website and newsletter
• Issue grants to support talented individuals and club development
• Hold an Annual Sports Awards

Luton Sports Network was established with financial support from Sport England, however Luton Borough Council is committed to maintaining it's grant aid to the group and the Sports Network has already been successful in obtaining funding from Awards for All.
