About Us
Netball East oversees activities in the region which is home to the seven Netballing Counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, East Essex, Essex Thurrock, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Netball East is governed by the East Regional Management Board (RMB) who are volunteers voted into post by affiliated members in the East Region. The RMB comprises of the Regional Chair, Regional Treasurer, the Chair from each of the East Technical Support Group’s (TSG) and the Hertfordshire Mavericks Superleague Manager. The TSG’s are the action groups of the RMB and comprise of volunteer members from all across the East Region. These groups run all regional competition, talent programmes, coach and official development and marketing and events on behalf of Netball East. The Technical Support Groups all work extremely hard throughout the year to ensure that netball continues to develop and thrive within the East Region. Click here to read about some of their achievements in 2010.
Netball East is an independently constituted and governed organisation and each of the TSG's has a Terms of Reference.

Netball East is committed to helping to achieve England Netball's Whole Sport Plan targets, which provide the funding from Sport England for the paid staffing structure. England Netball employee a Regional Manager and a Regional Coordinator to support the RMB and the development programmes in the East. A part time Netball Development Officer is also employed in each county to work closely alongside the County Netball Associations, Schools, CSP's and other partners.
