Achievements
Netball East has had yet another fantastic year and the region continues to go from strength to strength in 2010.
Our major achievements in 2010 included:
- Over 200 qualified coaches attended CPD courses
- Hertfordshire Mavericks made it 5 Superleague Finals in a row
- 30 Umpires were mentored at the Regional Round of National Schools Competition
- We hit the 1000 mark of women in the region attending B2N projects
- 5 young players were selected onto the National Excel Pathway
- An under 14 Regional Club's League was introduced
- 40 Officiating Courses were delivered across the region
- Many coaches were financially supported with European Social Funding and Netball East Bursaries to achieve UKCC qualifications
