Secondary
England Netball and Netball East recognise and support 7-a-side netball for secondary schools. We encourage and promote participation in intra and extra curricular netball offered through school programmes. Competition for schools is offered in local school leagues and nationally through the National Schools Competition for U19, U16 and U14.
Development courses can be run by individual schools or schools working in partnership with each other to develop the leadership and umpiring skills of students.
Courses for teachers include;
• Netball for Players aged 7-11 years course
• C Umpire Award
Courses for students include;
• Youth Umpire Award
• Beginner Umpire Award
• Young Netball Organiser course

Sporting Destinations National Schools Championships
To enter the National Schools event your school at either U14, U16 and U19 age groups require entering the Regional Rounds to compete for qualification to represent the Region at the National finals. National Finals are staged at a central venue with 54 teams aiding to the unique atmosphere.
