England Netball is please to announce that the top six netball nations played in the World Netball Series in October 2009 by new netball rules announced by the International Federation Netball Association (IFNA) as “FastNET”.
Spectators witnessed some of the world's greatest netball, observing a fast, ferocious and vibrant competition raising the profile of the sport and attracting new participants and spectators.
A number of innovative rule changes have been introduced in this form of the Game, designed to test the fitness, technical ability and tactical awareness of all netballers. These new rules have aroused significant interest across England and have hooked netballers who are desperate to play the game themselves.
England Netball is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has formally approved FastNET as a ‘recognised and authorised’ version of the game of netball domestically for all netballers. Therefore, if any member of England Netball participates in FastNET, this will no longer affect their Personal Accident Insurance and will continue to receive full Gold cover.
