Young Ambassadors
The Youth Sport Trust in partnership with adidas has further developed the Young Ambassador Programme. In addition to existing school sport partnership level Platinum and Gold Young Ambassadors the Youth Sport Trust and adidas have created a new tier of adiStars Young Ambassadors. The vision is for there to be two adiStars Young Ambassadors in every upper school significantly extending the reach of the Young Ambassador movement:
Platinum Young Ambassadors
These will be current Gold Ambassadors and will have:
– experience at working at a school sport partnership level
– the ability to mentor and lead other Young Ambassadors
– the skills to influence key adults in the school sport partnership
Gold Ambassadors
These will be outstanding young people from the school sport partnership who:
– are currently in yr 9,10,11
– are able to influence and inspire other young people
– are a talented performer and/or a leader and volunteer in the school sport partnership
adiStars Young Ambassadors
adiStars Young Ambassadors will be:
– Able to coordinate other young leaders in their school
– Be able to generate ideas to increase participation in their school
