Multi Skills Festival 2nd July Weather Update
As you are no doubt aware the hot weather looks set to continue and reach it's peak on Thursday. All schools should have received an email from the Partnership regarding options for the day.
All schools have the option to run as planned in the afternoon, change the timing to the morning or postponing until another date. If any of this applies to your school please contact Cathy Talbot (details in the 'Meet the team' section) as soon as possible. If you do decide to change the date unfortunately Sports Leaders will not be able to attend due to the time taken to get permission from schools and parents.
We advise all schools to take caution in the extreme heat. Make sure pupils sit in shade where possible, apply sun cream and wear sun hats. We have also suggested you plan regular drinks breaks into the session.
If you are making any changes please contact the Partnership as soon as possible.
