Robert Bloomfield are virtual winners
Yr 5 Virtual Athletics
The Redborne School Sport Partnership has just completed its second Year 5 virtual athletics competition. Six middle schools took part in the competition, which involved over 700 pupils.
The pupils took part in 4 events over a period of 4 weeks in their own school including 75m, 600m, long jump and cricket/rounders ball throw. The results from each school were then collated by the Cathy Talbot (SSCo Competition & School Club Links) and average scores were produced. Points were then awarded depending on the schools position in relation to each other.
Congratulations to Robert Bloomfield who were the overall winners of the competition.
The best performers in each category were:
75m: Katie Jayne-Bishop – 11.21 secs - Etonbury
Benjamin Trosser – 11.00 secs – Robert Bloomfield
