Stevenage Leisure and Redborne SSP join forces
Pupils in years 4 and 6 will be able to enjoy free swimming this summer as part of an initiative between Stevenage Leisure Limited and Redborne School Sport Partnership. As part of the Partnerships ongoing support to increase the ability of all Key Stage 2 pupils the initiative will allow pupils to enjoy free swimming all summer as long as they are with a paying adult.
Gabby Shirley, Partnership Development Manager for Redborne SSP comments ‘we have worked with the Flitwick Leisure Centre site to establish this programme which comes on the back of the large amount of support we currently offer our lower and middle schools to deliver high quality swimming lessons. Whilst this opportunity is only open to year 4 and year 6 pupils at Flitwick Leisure Centre this summer, if it is successful we will hopefully be able to open it up to all Key Stage 2 pupils across a number of Stevenage Leisure Ltd sites including Saxon Pool’.
Over 2,500 pupils have been given a ‘free swimming’ pass to use from Monday 21st July to Monday 1st September.

Only open to year 4 and year 6 pupils from Redborne School Sport Partnership Schools
Valid during general swimming sessions only
All guests must register at reception before using the facility
Please follow our (Flitwick Leisure Centre) swimming pool safety regulations and the child admissions policy
