Team BEDS&LUTON win award for Get Back Into project
The team BEDS&LUTON Get Back Into project has received an award from England Athletics at their annual awards ceremony for their partnership project with Ampthill and Flitwick flyers earlier in the year. The awards ceremony saw over 100 guests enjoy a great night recognising the hard work and determination of Athletics clubs and individuals in the region, and team BEDS&LUTON were thrilled that their Get Back Into Running project that they held earlier in the year at Redborne School was awarded.
Stephen Hartley (Chairman of Ampthill and Flitwick Flyers) said "Ampthill and Flitwick Flyers are delighted to be recognized by England Athletics for our work with team BEDS&LUTON. Athletics is an accessible sport which has a great deal to offer and Get Back Into has helped local people to enjoy club running for the first time, come back, have fun and make new friends. The flyers will continue to do our bit".
