Sport England have recently confirmed that they would like us to continue to deliver the No Limits programme for a further period of 6 months beyond the project end date of 31st May 2017 which is great news.
Furthermore the value that No Limits programme has made to disability sport across the county has been recognised and they have encouraged tB&L to stay up to date with Sport England's future funding programme announcements. Sport England reiterated that supporting disabled people in becoming more active continues to be a priority for them and that the experience we have gathered from delivering our Inclusive Sport project, No Limits, will put us in a strong position to work with them in the future.
Clearly we have moved a long way in the last 3 years and the work we have collectively undertaken as part of the No Limits programme has made a huge difference to many Bedfordshire residents…..what we do next is critical to maintain momentum, capture learning and keep providing the life enhancing opportunities that 1000's of disabled people have enjoyed over the last 3 years.
With that in mind a Disability Summit Meeting will be held on 22 May at the Rufus Centre in Flitwick from 9:30-12noon to explore options for continued delivery of the No Limits programme across Bedfordshire. If you would like to attend the meeting please confirm your details with Alison Wright email@example.com.
