Welcome to the Redborne School Sport Partnership website
The website is here to:
- Inform you of what is happening within the Partnership network
- Share some good news stories and good practice with you
- Show you how the Partnership is working to achieve the Governments ambition for all children and young people aged between 5-16yrs to have the opportunity to participate in five hours of sport per week by 2011 (including 2 hours of high quality PE and sport at school) as well as 3 hours of sport for young people aged 16-19, as part of the "5 hour offer".
Redborne Upper School & Community College, a Specialist Sports College and Training School, is part of the Government's 'Specialist Schools' programme. As well as improving PE and school sport for all it's pupils, Redborne plays a major role in developing sporting opportunitites within the local community. Redborne is an integral part of the School Sport Partnership programme and is the hubsite for the Partnership.
