Courses for Clubs, Coaches, Volunteers and Teachers

Listed below are all the courses for clubs, coaches, volunteers and teachers taking place during 2010. All courses are charged at £30 per course, per person. Payment must be received at the time of booking to reserve your place.

Courses marked with an * are all generally required for the achievement of Clubmark Accreditation or for Coaching Qualifications. Contact your NGB for confirmation.

* Appointed Persons First Aid in Sport

This 6 hour course will provide you with a HSE approved certificate and essential knowledge for dealing with incidents including control of bleeding, resuscitation, fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains and the contents of a 1st Aid box [PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED A 1ST AID COURSE AS PART OF A NGB COACHING QUALIFICATION IT WILL BE OF THE SAME LEVEL AS THIS COURSE].

Attendance is required on both evenings!

This workshop will help you ensure that all sessions are fair, open and accessible to everyone who wants to participate.

* Safeguarding and Protecting Children

Protect yourself and the young people you are working with by understanding and following good practice. Also learn about how to handle situations if you have concerns. This course is highly recommend for anyone who is in contact with children or young people in a sport setting.

*SAFEGUARDING & PROTECTING CHILDREN 2 - THIS IS A NEW COURSE

This is the new follow up course for anybody who has already completed the Safeguarding & Protecting Children course and is looking to update their certification. This course will update you on the latest legislation and good practice and repalces the need for you to attend the original Safeguarding course having already attended it.
