Comments from previous participants

I would recommend the course to clubs, I think it would be especially useful to clubs who are looking to apply for funding but have very little experience of applying for money previously. Excellent course materials. I liked being able to see other peoples issues and what has worked for them.

Most useful was reading case studies and funding bids which have been successful
Club Development Manager, Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent

I have already started putting what I have learned into practice with the clubs I work with in terms of how to complete a successful funding bid … I had a bid accepted to support the multi-sports disability club.
Development Officer County Durham Sport

We had some really excellent folks putting their thoughts and experiences down on discussion forums. The course has increased my knowledge of the fundraising systems and protocols that are out there. It has also shown me the worth of ensuring the clubs are organized and planned beforehand. I will now be able to support the clubs in my District much better with any funding plans and applications they have.
Sports Development Officer Staffordshire Moorlands District Council

I would highly recommend the course to local clubs. Most useful was the feedback - a bit of support and guidance as to if you are heading in the right direction.
Sports Development Manager, Oldham Community Leisure

Course materials were extremely useful and I will use them to refer to in the future
