Netball

Netball is a fast-paced and intensive game, which will quickly boost your health and fitness levels. Netball East Region is one of 9 Regions within England Netball and includes the Bedford and Luton area.

An Overview of Netball

Netball is played on a hard court with scoring rings at both ends, where players score by netting the netball. There are seven players on each team. All have named positions on the court such as wing defence or centre. The players are restricted to specific areas according to their position. Players cannot travel with the ball, making netball a game of fast passing with the object being to outscore your opponent by shooting more balls through the goal ring.

Why not try something new? There are so many opportunities in netball, whether that's finding another way to play, offering to help out at your local junior club, buying a whistle and getting on the Into Officiating course or even volunteering at the Quad Series.
