Need an innovative way to raise funds for your local Sporting Cause?

Team Beds and Luton has launched a new and innovative service for the benefit of those playing, and involved in sport in Bedfordshire.

We offer local people the opportunity to support local sporting causes through a unique crowd funding platform (operated by Podium Partners). By crowd funding we mean the practice of funding a project or venture by raising contributions from a large number of people via the internet.

Our latest local sporting cause is Miss Carrie Mancini, who is part of the Bedfordshire FA's Player Development Centre and plays in the U18s girls team for Woburn & Wavendon FC Lionesses. This month she was selected as The Managers Player of the Season at the Beds FA ACC for her technical ability and leadership skills as part of the U16 and U18 squads. She is wanting to participate in the elite ladies football squad at The EDSV Academy and to study for a Level 3 Diploma in Sport (Development Coaching & Fitness), from Sept 2016-2018 at Oaklands College in St Albans. The funds will go towards having a residential place on the college campus and to purchase kit. Her ultimate aim is to become a professional footballer within the FA Women's Super League in the UK or to achieve a scholarship to play in America.

Crowd funding is a way of attracting lots of small donations from a wide variety of people through promoting the project, person or club on the internet. Anyone who would like to donate and help Carrie, please click here for more info.

You could be a young athlete in Luton needing help with training costs, a disabled football team in Bedford looking for funds for new equipment, a school initiative trying to get more girls playing sport, or a sportivate or satellite club programme. Please get in touch with to find our more.
