Children & Young People Conference - Uniting the Movement

MISSION: To inspire children and young people to be physically active for life, through safe, positive experiences of daily activity and competition

With the launch of Sport England's Strategy; 'Uniting the Movement' and the identification of the five big issues nationally, it is evident more work needs to be done to create positive experiences for children and young people (CYP) to be active, specifically at an early age - helping to build the foundations of a healthy and more active lifestyle and the development of physically literate children.

The CYP Conference has been developed to focus specifically on how we can work locally in schools and in the community to ensure children and young people have safe, enjoyable opportunities to be active as well as learn and develop.

The conference will include a keynote speaker and a menu of workshops to select from throughout the day plus the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the county and visit a plethora of stalls at the marketplace all within the beautiful surroundings of Center Parcs, Woburn Forest. At the end of the day you are free to enjoy the Parc and go for a swim in the sub tropical pool.

The conference is aimed at teachers and coaches working in schools as well as community group leaders working with CYP

Workshop details will follow in the new year.
