  • To refresh knowledge and understanding of the Care Act 2014To identify key areas of change within Safeguarding and explore the impact this will have in practice
  • To look at ways of ensuring best practice
  • Considering recent safeguarding cases in sport.
  • Recognising cause for concern scenarios and understanding when to refer.
  • Understanding the role of the Local Authority.
  • To consider how the people you support are included
  • To understand the roles and responsibilities of the safeguarding lead
