About Street Games - Your Digital Family Fund

StreetGames is proud to launch Your Digital Family, an exciting new project designed to help families to have better conversations about technology and how to use it safely. Developed in partnership with Facebook, ParentZone, The Mix and Connection Coalition this new digital programme is a unique opportunity to bring families together to learn how to help use technology in a way that works for everyone.

Now more than ever, technology is changing the way we work, socialise, and even how we interact as families. Through lockdown, the internet has helped us to keep our communication open while the world outside remained closed. But this technology also creates new risks, especially for children and young people. From social media to at-home working, technology is changing the way we come together as families and as communities. Our new programme is designed to help families have better conversations about using technology in ways that work for them.

There will be 250 grants of £1000 available to community groups to run the Your Digital Family workshop, and these grants are available to local organisations in the StreetGames network.

There will be an online event to explain how the programme will work and how you can apply to take part. If you are interested you will need to sign up to the session. However, signing up for the session does not commit you or guarantee you the funding but will give you an idea of the programme and what you will need to deliver.

Applications are open until 30th September.

Award decisions will be made by 14th October.

Whoever is leading the sessions for the organisation will need to attend training 19th Oct – 16th Nov

Activity needs to be delivered between October and the end of January 2021.
