About Duty Manager

We have exciting opportunities at Sport Sheffield for people with a passion for sport and facility operational management looking to use their skills and experience to make an impact on our customers.

Sport Sheffield is the department of the University of Sheffield that manages all aspects of sport, including facilities and related services. The facilities include 170 station gym, 33.3m pool, strength and conditioning room, bouldering wall, squash courts, sports hall, studios, extensive outdoor pitch provision (at Goodwin Sports Centre and Norton Sports Park).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, energetic and forward thinking workforce. We are at an exciting stage in our development as we look to add a number of staff to our already thriving team, enabling us to take steps towards developing our new vision for sport.

As the post holder you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of leadership or supervisory management. We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of health and safety who can think spontaneously and look to create change and effect improvements. A positive approach to work is key with the ability to influence team members to achieve a high standard of work.
