Grants for young people in Leighton Linslade!
Posted: Fri, 26 Jan 2018 09:53
Leighton-Linslade Town Council has set aside £150,000 creating this new grant scheme to help existing organisations expand the capacity of their work to the benefit of children and young people aged 11 to 19 years in the Parish of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade.
Of particular relevance to this scheme is that the aims of the grant fund are that the Council's investment must secure outputs /outcomes that:
1. Expand the 'offer' of positive activities – broaden the activity base permanently.
2. Develop the 'quality' of activities and/or delivery.
3. Build delivery 'capacity' – skills, qualifications, knowledge and volunteers.
4. Increase membership – reach/serve more children and young people.
