Sport England launch Workforce diversity fund

Sport England have this week launched a new fund aimed at supporting the development of coaching and volunteering opportunities for women and/or BAME communities.

If you have a great idea about how you can engage women and/or BAME communities into quality volunteering and/or coaching opportunities, then we want to hear from you.

Experience of the sport sector is not essential - you may have access to the target audiences and want to work in partnership with an organisation who can support with the provision of sports volunteering opportunities.

What is important is that you have a good understanding of the needs of the people in your area that you are trying to connect with and that you, or your partners, are trusted and respected by the people you want to reach.

If you would like our help to develop your project and complete the expression of interest submission, which needs to be submitted by 3rd July, please do get in touch with us at either graham@teambedsandluton.co.uk; clare@teambedsandluton.co.uk or tom@teambedsandluton.co.uk or give us a call on 01582 813760 for an informal discussion. Further details relating to the fund and how to apply are available via https://www.sportengland.org/funding/workforce-diversity-great-ideas-fund/'
