The Steel Charitable Trust is inviting applications in the category of Health for its Luton Matters award.

The Luton Matters award was introduced last year, as a series of 3-year grants focussed exclusively on Luton worth up to £90,000 in total for each of the Trust's funding categories. The Luton Matters category for 2020 is health.

Invitations are specifically sought from eligible organisations that promote healthy lifestyles and well-being amongst children and young people, and/or the promotion of good ante-natal health in pregnant women.

The grant is available by competitive application to support charitable projects that are aimed at improving the lives or opportunities of people who live within the Luton boundary. Where appropriate, preference will be given to projects that are delivered by local people and run by Luton-based organisations.

Expressions of interest are invited between now and 13 October.

Full details of the Lutton Matters grants, eligibility criteria, how to apply and the timescale can be found on the Trust's website on the dedicated Luton Matters page.
