The FA have announced a new five-year partnership with Nuffield Health, becoming the football governing body's official health and wellbeing partner.
With more than 65 years' experience and an industry-leading network of health and wellbeing facilities, Nuffield Health offers a full breadth of services, from physical and mental health, hospital treatments and clinical care through to rehabilitation and general wellbeing.
A new survey by Nuffield Health has highlighted the impact of the pandemic on health and wellbeing, with the Healthier Nation Index revealing that 37% of UK adults are now more concerned about their mental health, with a further 40% worried about the impact on their physical health.
Through the partnership, Nuffield Health aspires to be the nation's teammate in health, building on the mental and physical benefits that football brings to improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities.
The partnership will aim to build a healthier nation, raising awareness of the importance of positive mental and physical wellbeing and developing a series of initiatives which give people of all ages the tools and encouragement to live a healthier life.
