Reframing of the School Games and the benefit for all Young People in your school

This workshop will explore how the School Games programme is changing, and the role that it plays in inspiring all young people to be physically active for life, through positive experiences of daily activity and competition; and to enjoy the health and social benefits that this brings. The opportunities provided by the School Games helps young people improve leadership skills, teamwork skills and support for mental wellbeing. We believe the School Games has a vital part to play in an active recovery where the health and wellbeing of young people is prioritised through providing opportunities for young people to reconnect, recover and rebuild their confidence through positive experiences. This workshop will allow you to understand the change in direction of the School Games and how the young people in your school can benefit from this
