Sustaining the Legacy of the Primary PE Premium Funding

Thursday 14th October 9:30am - 3:30pm
OR
Friday 22nd October 9:30am - 3:30pm
£105pp

This essential whole day workshop is designed to provide schools with national updates and the chance to explore how they are going to make the most of what could potentially be their last year of funding.

We will be posing key questions for schools to consider ensuring there is a legacy from the funding they have had and that it is sustainable for years to come. Schools will be asked to look at their PE action plans and to see how they can use their funding to provide additionality to their core offer and that during this year they are in a position where all staff teaching PE are competent and confident to do so.

Schools will be given time throughout the morning to share ideas and good practice for spending the funding to ensure maximum impact and sustainability whilst considering pupils mental health and well being.

The second part of the day will be looking at an innovative online tool which uses a simple framework which allows schools to have a targeted approach to their spending and to:

  • Create and communicate a shared vision for PE, Sport & Health across the school
  • Establish where you are, where you want to be and how to get there
  • Identify appropriate solutions to meet your vision
  • Evidence and celebrate the impact of the PE and Sport Premium and other programmes
  • Be part of a community of learning with shared best practice across schools
