"Did it make life easier? Absolutely. Did it make sure that no other sport that we were trying to bring back was inadvertently disadvantaged? Yes, it did. So although the money was for tennis, by being for tennis, and making sure that tennis was looked after, and grew, the other sports were actually better off as well."

"From my own perspective, since the pandemic began, many people, including myself and my family, were really affected, mentally and physically. So there was no motivation, there was no space, and to then get that platform, it was so amazing. It was very much needed in our community."

"When you chat to the young people, they wanted to feel safe to play instead of playing and then watching out for somebody. It was really great, they were all engaged and they had the most amount of respect, kindness and everything"
